Carved Temple Necklace

Antique gold carved in relief, with a large pendant and emerald drops.

Temple jewellery began as ornaments for the deities of South Indian shrines, and it still carries that sense of devotion. This necklace is carved in relief, motif by motif, then given an antique finish so the detail reads from across a room.

A large carved pendant sits at the centre, with emerald drops and small pearls hung along its lower edge. Emeralds are also set into the links of the necklace.

A piece for weddings, for pujas, and for the daughter who will be given it one day.
